Universum International College and Helvetas Swiss Intercooperation — GPEK take your privacy seriously. This notice explains what data is collected through the GreenTech Kosovo Challenge 2026, why it is collected, and how you can exercise your rights.
What data we collect
When you apply, we collect: name, email, date of birth, municipality, region, gender, ethnicity, residency status, and the content of your application (solution, documents, team details).
Why we collect it
Data is processed to: (a) manage your application and communication with you; (b) enable the jury's evaluation; (c) report inclusion targets to Helvetas — GPEK under contract; (d) meet legal obligations of the Swiss-supported programme.
Legal basis
Processing is based on your consent given at the time of application, as well as on the Kosovo Law No. 06/L-082 on Personal Data Protection and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
How long we keep it
Applicant data is retained for 24 months after the competition closes for reporting and monitoring purposes, after which it is deleted or anonymised.
